It is a 12 week blended format course that is lectured based. The lecture portion of the course material (book reading, homework, tests) are expected to be completed on your own time.

Once you complete the 12 week program you will begin the clinical portion of our program. This requires you to complete a 150 hour (minimum 3 month) externship with a licensed Pennsylvania dentist of your choice. You have 3 – 12 months to complete your externship. This is scheduled directly between you and the dentist you have chosen. Once you complete the 12 week course and your 150 hour externship you will then receive your 2 Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) State Certifications for Dental Assisting (and a Dental X-ray Certificate) at no additional cost. This is all included in your free scholarship.

If selected, participants must pay a $100 commitment fee, which confirms their space in the program.
