This $400 Grant (previously the Breakthrough Grant) helps women overcome the final barriers standing between them and their education.
Details
The Levaris Foundation Forward Grant provides financial support to women who are actively pursuing educational or career advancement opportunities. This micro-grant is designed to remove practical barriers that may delay or interrupt progress. This award is intended to provide timely assistance so recipients can continue moving forward with clarity and confidence.
WIN $400
We will apply funds towards:
• Tuition or enrollment deposits
• Required textbooks or supplies
• Certification or licensing exam fees
• Approved training programs
• Career-related mentorship or professional development
Eligibility
-Must be a woman 18 years or older
- Must reside in Pennsylvania
- Must be currently enrolled in, or accepted into, or enrolling into an accredited educational or certification program

The Levaris Foundation forward exists to intercept these moments before they become permanent obstacles. With timely, targeted support, we help women remain enrolled, stay licensed, and move forward with dignity. Every dollar invested in this program is a vote of confidence in someone who’s already doing the work- they just need help getting past the gate.

About The Winners
We were able to directly assist four women through this grant. One recipient received tuition assistance just in time to avoid late payments. Another, an established midwife, received funding to get certified in New Jersey so she could legally expand her practice. She also was able to get certified in CPR with the funds. One woman, faced with unexpected hardship after her school stopped accepting FAFSA, was able to cover the gap with critical tuition support. In a beautiful twist, our reach extended all the way to Portland, Oregon, where we helped a future healthcare administrator stay enrolled in her program at school but using this grant to assist with tuition. Levaris Foundations Forward Grant proved that real help, at the right moment, can keep a dream in motion- no matter the zip code.
